Highlights of the 2024 Sydney Film Festival
Relive the highlights of the 71st Sydney Film Festival which took over Sydney screens from June 5 – 16, 2024.
12 days, nearly 250 films, hundreds of filmmakers guests and a red carpet feeling that stretched all over Sydney. The 71st Sydney Film Festival was your Festival, to do your way. Relive the highlights from the opening night film Midnight Oil: The Hardest Line that rocked the State Theatre, to Austin Butler taking the red carpet at the Australian Premiere of The Bikeriders, and our closing night award ceremony and screening of the hair (and skin) raising film The Substance.
Sydney Film Festival acknowledges Australia’s First Nations People as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land, and pay respect to the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, upon whose Country SFF is based.
We honour the storytelling and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia.
